Network Engineer
Josh received a B.S. in Finance from Siena College and then spent almost ten years in the finance industry. Growing tired of finance, seeking a new challenge, and always having an interest in technology, Josh began taking IT classes at night at SUNY Adirondack. He recently obtained an A.A.S. in IT Networking and is currently pursuing a degree in Cyber Security. Josh joined our team at the recommendation of his SUNY Adirondack Cisco classmate and fellow ADKtechs Network Engineer, Bill Kay.
HR Manager, Denise Humiston, states that “Josh is a breath of fresh air. He has a hunger for learning which makes him a tremendous asset to our team of engineers. He is always willing to jump in and help with our most complicated projects. He loves learning new processes and excels at mentoring our intern. He’s really just an all around good guy and we’re excited to have him at ADKtechs”. This hunger for learning has earned Josh the title of Cisco Certified Network Associate (Routing & Switching), he’s in the process of becoming a CCNA in Security, and has plans to continue working toward additional certifications for years to come.
