Dawn Rzeszot
Finance Manager
Dawn has over 20 years of experience in finance, office, Human Resources (HR) management and customer service. Previously employed for a communications company, her strengths helped her work with differing personality types managing multi-million dollar accounts. Her ability to shift gears, wear many hats, and implement change helps to keep ADKtechs running smoothly. She is responsible for managing the office including HR and Finance Management; however, she is never too busy to jump and help wherever she can.
When asked why she decided to join the ADKtechs team, Dawn replied, “I agreed to come aboard to use my skills to be successful in the development and growth of a local start-up company.”
“Dawn comes to us from Palio Ignite where she was the Finance Manager,” said Jared Humiston, Owner and President of ADKtechs. “Her experience in being a key contributor to a very large and fast-growing business is what instantly made Dawn a can’t-miss addition to the team. ADKtechs has tripled in size in the last three years and Dawn’s fast paced experience in a 40-million-dollar company is what we need for the revenue path that we are on. She will be a welcomed addition to our team.”
In her free time, Dawn operates a family-run farm with her family of five.
Heather Tifft
Corporate Account Manager
“What excites me the most about working for ADKtechs,” Heather said, “is the team that I work with. Everyone at ADKtechs supports each other completely and one person’s success is everyone’s success.”
Heather spent her career in a variety of industries including Medical Devices, Woodworking, and Telecommunications before joining the ADKtechs team. She has a B.S. in Business and Technology Management from Clarkson University. Having a strong customer service and sales background allows her to assess a client’s needs and pair them with the correct product offering while building lasting relationships.
“Heather stood out from the rest in the hiring process because of her accomplishments,” said Jared Humiston, Owner and President of ADKtechs. “To graduate from Clarkson University in three years is very impressive. Her intelligence, work ethic and drive will contribute to the future of ADKtechs. Although IT is a new challenge for her, we feel that the proper training and investment will lead to a major career boost both for her and ADKTechs.”
Andrew Castrantas
Corporate Account Manager
Andrew brings over six years of business development and account management experience to the team. In his new position, he finds great satisfaction in making a difference in his clients’ lives by developing and building relationships with them through customized and individualized IT solutions that alleviate their specific business challenges that keep them up at night. Andrew is responsible for building ADKtechs’ client base throughout the greater Capital Region and beyond by serving as his clients reliable, trusted and go-to advisor for their IT solutions.
In his free time, Andrew enjoys the outdoors, traveling and — most of all — time with his family, especially with his daughter, Isabella.
“Andrew’s proven track record as a top producer and his experience in IT sales is what instantly made him the centerpiece of our accounts team expansion,” said Jared Humiston, Owner and President of ADKtechs. “Andrew has high energy, a positive attitude and a drive to succeed that is second to none. William “Bill” Kay
Level I Help Desk Engineer
Bill is a 2002 Graduate from Hudson Falls High School. He served eight years in the U.S. Air Force where he proudly served his country and gained invaluable experience in the field of communications. Bill has helped maintain and secure some of the most confidential computer and VOIP networks in the world. While serving, Bill traveled and lived around the world, from Europe to Asia. After the military, Bill moved back to his hometown area and is currently pursuing a degree in Cyber Security at SUNY Adirondack. In his spare time, he can usually be found hiking around the Adirondacks or the high peaks with his fiancé, Laura.
Bill proudly joined the ADKtechs teams in September 2016. Bill hopes to use his experience in the security and networking fields to help clients maximize the potential of their networks and feel secure doing so.
“I’m thrilled to have joined the team here at Adirondack Technical Solutions,” said Bill. “As a native of the area myself, over the years I have been witness to the organization Jared is building here. The community involvement — in terms of support of local business, donations to charitable events and organizations — is something I have seen and heard about even before meeting with the team myself. I have been searching for a great company that cares about their customers, community and their employees, and I’m more than happy to say I’ve found it.”
