Michael Wood, Director of Sales & Marketing
An Argyle native with a BS in Marketing & Management from Siena College, Michael Wood comes to ADKtechs after twelve years managing sales and marketing at Six Flags Great Escape Lodge & Indoor Waterpark. In his short time with our company, his positive attitude and vast knowledge have already pushed the sales and marketing departments forward. Michael was drawn to ADKtechs largely due to founder, Jared Humiston’s, business outlook and dedication to Washington County, “His vision for the company is impressive, but his aspirations for our community are what truly put it over the top for me”. Every second of Michael’s free time is devoted to family, mainly enjoying whatever activities his very active kids are participating in.
Robert Barrett

Robert Barrett grew up in the Adirondacks and graduated from SUNY Albany with a degree in Criminal Justice. After living in Russia for four years, Rob moved back to the US and joined the local technology field. He quickly moved up the ranks from Bench Technician to MSP Manager. He comes to ADKtechs with more than a decade of IT experience; and as our new Director of Technical Service Delivery, he brings infectious enthusiasm and dedication to the technical team. Rob says he wanted to join ADKtechs to grow and develop a new team & company. In his spare time, Rob likes to spend time with his wife and daughter & play around with new technology.
Annette Smith
Sales Coordinator
Annette Smith, Sales Coordinator
Annette Smith grew up in Hudson Falls and currently resides in Argyle. After attending SUNY Adirondack, she gained nearly 20 years’ experience in sales support, customer service, electronic data interchange, and supply chain order management. Annette’s hobbies change seasonally and range from watching her children’s dance recitals and drama club performances to cheering them on at their soccer, basketball, and baseball games. When asked why she decided to join the ADKtechs team, Annette responded, “What attracted me to ADKtechs was the opportunity to be a part of a company that gives so much back to the community we live and work in, as well as helping businesses keep their infrastructure functional and secure”.
Chad Mitchell
Systems Engineer
Chad Mitchell, Systems Engineer
Chad Mitchell has a knack for helping others. He served in the US Armed Forces for 8 years, with deployments in Iraq and Lebanon & he spent 11 years as a volunteer firefighter for the South Glens Falls Fire Department. Upon leaving the Army, Chad graduated from ITT Technical Institute with an Associate Degree in Network Systems Administration and Purdue University Global with a BS in Criminal Justice (Homeland Security concentration). Chad is currently completing a Master’s Degree in Homeland Security & Emergency Management. In his off-time, Chad enjoys spending time with his wife and children. On his new position, Chad says, “I joined ADKtechs because I am excited to work in an atmosphere with talented professionals whose main concern is to ensure that every client is taken care of as if they are the only client. The level of service, compassion, and care for each individual client is second to none”.
